Wagering requirements explained
What the multiplier means and how the 10x cap works.
A wagering requirement is the number of times bonus funds must be staked before any winnings linked to them can be withdrawn.
A worked example
A £10 bonus with 10x wagering means £100 of total stakes. Each stake carries the game's house edge, so the expected value of the bonus shrinks with every pound wagered.
The UK cap
From 19 January 2026 the UK Gambling Commission limits wagering on gambling promotions to a maximum of 10x. Operators may set lower requirements, never higher.
No mixed-product offers
From the same date, a single promotion can no longer require you to use different products — for example betting on sport and playing slots — to unlock it.
