- House edge
- The built-in mathematical advantage of a game for the operator.
- RTP
- Return to player — the long-run share of stakes a game pays back; the rest is house edge.
- Wagering
- The number of times bonus funds must be staked before withdrawal.
- Free bet
- A bet token; usually only winnings are paid, not the stake.
- Self-exclusion
- A voluntary block on gambling accounts for a set period.

- The UK national online self-exclusion scheme.
- KYC
- Know your customer — identity and age verification.
